Textbook Series for Second Year German (A2)

The topics with vocabulary and structures from Portfolio Deutsch 1 are reinforced and spiraled in Portfolio Deutsch 2 via the development of more independent language use. All instructions and explanations in English.

Level: A2

The textbook is subdivided into two sections:

• "Classwork" introduces the topics, vocabulary and grammatical structures in the context of the given chapter.  The material is practiced in individual, paired and group exercises with various audio components. 
• In the "My Portfolio" section the material in the "Classwork" section is mirrored with additional practice to reinforce the material.  The exercises are correlated to the Language Portfolios which help the students make the connection between effort and achievement.
